deprived of what was meant to be
living in a world so treacherous and empty
I wish you could feel my pain because without you i would be dead
and my dreams are all that keeps me from my final resting bed


climbing up this ladder of despair only to fall down and break your neck
it ascends into the sky only the bravest warriors attempt the climb
it seems to have no end starring up from a mortal world
to test true love through perseverance is she waiting for me on the other side?


how does it feel to be so alone
that you talk to yourself as though you were someone else?
with no response its such a lonely world
my angel abducted by darkness is now lost in time


were the messages ever sent? will they reach you in time?
maybe someday you'll be home forever to revive this heart of mine
